Prepares, assembles, inspects, solders and repairs electronic systems, assemblies, subassemblies, components, and parts for conformance to specifications. Performs inspection of in-process and finished products and reworks printed circuit boards.
Ensures the reliability of products through the analysis, troubleshooting, modification, and repair of electronic components, parts, equipment, and systems at various stages of the productions process as well as the development of test apparatus and methods to prove that functionality and design meet industry and customer specifications.
Tends computer-controlled machines that automatically insert electronic components onto lands of PCBs; sets up and operates PNPs, screen printers and reflow ovens; performs quality inspections per industry standards; performs process and set-up verifications for quality; performs component reel up/down; performs rework as necessary.
The Quality Control Inspector performs inspections (in-process, finished product and inspection audits), performs process and set-up verifications and records results as required by the quality management system (QMS). This position interacts with members of the production team to provide timely feedback on product in process. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required. Members of the inspection team assist the organization in problem solving associated with non-conformities as well as other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Manager.
Complete mechanical assembly processes including potting, assembly of wire harnesses, casings, heat sinks and other manual functions such as de-paneling of completed PCBs using small equipment and tools specific to the processes.
The Office Assistant/Document Clerk will perform various routine clerical duties to support the organization and assist with the documentation required to support production.
